The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a wide array of heroes, and a thrilling plot showcasing divine entities, fiends, and dark forces growing in influence within the city.

Note: Key plot points for Episode 3 of this adventure lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

Episode 3 finished on a dramatic pause and presented the first table of characters who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.

This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

With a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that maintaining everyone at the same party would be impossible.

That’s why, the initial installments of this story serve as an Overture, intertwining the individual narratives before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for participants who are drawn to a classically intense combat and conflict-driven story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might seem out of place, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the team knows exactly where to go next after a intense opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose demise started the story’s plot—manipulated the enemy for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting the character, and taking all the enchanted items to dispose of.

Casimir then cleared his liabilities and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of the city, with Cyd close behind.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, wants retribution.
  • The adventurer knows the region and advises that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having resisted his relatives’ demands to execute the target and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their position as key figures in the influential clan could help the group access areas they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to The savior for his rescue and will now go with him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the authorities that rule Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them few options but to travel to the remote area in search of the antagonist.

Future Episodes

From the recent installment’s follow-up content, we find out that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the other eight cast members to round up the Questers and Schemers groups.

Audiences can expect finding out which players will be where in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
